Two Things We Forget

These are the two things that we sometimes forget as we practice Buddhism.

  1. Rest
  2. Don’t Expect Quick Results

We need to rest. We need to relax after practicing something. In the Sutras, of course, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas don’t seem to rest. But we need to also rest. It is important. So that, we can begin fresh and renewed.

Just like our goal-oriented mindset, we want to see results quickly. Just do one at a time. Especially in Buddhism, we rarely count results within a few years.

Rest. Don’t expect quick results.
